Welcome to Christelle's Page!
1) What is the main message of your poster? The main message of my poster is anti racism. Racism is something that has contaminated our country for centuries we need to stand against it and not let it take control of our minds.
2) Describe the choices you made with font, images, color, layout, and composition to communicate your message. One of the main reasons why I used the color blue is because to me the color blue represents freedom. Our country needs to be freed from racism. I used a bold black front because we need to be bold about our choices and not give into society.
3) How did your poster change with each version. What changes did you make to get to your completed poster? I constantly changed my poster. I changed the image and even the message some many times trying to find the perfect way to portray how I feel. But as I made more changes I realize that there isn't any perfect way to describe the way we as a colored community has felt for the past centuries so when I came to the conclusion of the fist I realized that even though that there is no perfect way there is a perfect way in our selves.
4) What parts of your poster do you feel are most successful? The overall message became successful over time. The more passionate I felt the more I research I did and the more I believe in the power of words and how I can change people's opinion by what I thought. At first this assignment was difficult but over time it became more easier as I went in depth into how I felt about this topic.
Laser Cut Snowflakes!
Choice Project: Carving
My Carving project was a carve of Cheryl Blossom from Riverdale!
3D Design & Innovation
My group (Kyla&Cherie) are currently making a lamp that will have L.E.D. lights inside! This is the process!
As a group we worked together. Cherie and Kyla made the design and I (Christelle) took the pictures!
Our main problem in this project was the way the laser cutter cut our design. We had to redesign our design several times or improv on certain aspects. But we work together as a group and tried our best.
This is a sample of our finishing product!
Mickey Mouse Ears!
My secret project was creating mini Mickey Mouse Ears! This is the process and the finish look!
This the finish product! The process was very difficult but it demanded more focus than any other project I encountered! This was a solo project. Mainly all original thoughts and ideas from myself. Some from my peers but this was a project that I controlled! First I went into Tinker Cad and design my project from there. I scaled it or measured it. I combine different shapes to get what I want. After we saved it into a file uploaded it to Lexar and Marker Bot (3d machine) and it just bloomed from there. I chose the color gray because it's simple and calm. This is my project!
