Surrealism

I made this piece because I wanted to emphize how close migos are and how dark the music industry can be. I added the doves for compostion to draw your eyes towards the fire. I chose doves over other birds because of their culture II album cover. I really wanted the top half of the photo to have blue tones and the bottom of the photo to have orange tones for contrast. 

Issue Based Poster

I ended up going with this poster. I was torn between making a poster about mental health or a poster about body positivty, I chose this one because I think it's more dramatic and I think it stands out more. I think this poster is more motovational than my other one.

The first poster I made centered around body positivity. I wrote a few sentences and had them repeat in the background, I had the idea to make women of different shapes and sizes standing together. I never finished this, but I came back to it after awhile and decided it looks better unfinished. I think this poster looks better with only purple and I like the "sketchy" style more.

Poster Research

I chose this poster because of the use of color. I like how the colors guide you through the poster, and are used to help you understand the message better.

I chose this poster because I think the message is very obvious and easy to understand, yet this poster is very simple and easy to take in.

Design Unit

I ended up with this photo because I love gymnastics, I chose this quote because I look up to Shawn Johnson and I think what she said was very true.

I chose this quote because it's always been a joke between my sister and me, we tend to refrence it a lot and it just reminds me of fun times. I chose this photo because I think it made sense with the quote.
