This topic is very serious. In this case, I wanted to raise awareness towards this topic. I chose this font because it looks very much like a typewriter. The reason why there are so many words, it's that important. The bolded words are the ones repeating. The color, any color other than black, white, or gray wouldn't fit into the mood. These colors really gave the reader or the viewer put in the mood of pity or sadness. Depression comes for people out of nowhere, it can lead to serious mistakes, especially ones that you wish you could regret. The gradient just gives more of a dramatic effect. This background is supposed to be gloomy.

This picture, it's funny because I didn't know what to do, until I searched up "depressed poses". I hadn't known what or how people cope with depression, until I saw this pose. It shows that a person can sometimes want to hide. Or even be gone. Their head laying down so no one can see their face, they're basically trying to be as small as possible. They might be feeling mad, sad, jealous. Something to make them feel this type of way.The hood is on the head to hide more of themselves, hoping no one will see them this way. As if, they'd been faking the whole time, and they never felt happy for a long time. But of course, there must be a time in their life when they were happy.
This is my first choice, which also is right now my favorite one. This gives a sadness vibe, and the bolded depression words really stand. I used the luminous tool to change the filter of the pose.
This one made a more dark background, just to make it more dramatically sad. Not only that, blue is more of a sadness vibe, in that meaning, gray and blue are perfect for sadness. I still used the luminous tool to make it more sad.
In this choice, I made myself smaller, as if the words are surrounding them with so much stress and anxiety. The background is even darker and there are some new colors. The first one is still my favorite.
In this choice, I kept the background color from the first one, except it's a bit darker with grays. I experimented with the fonts, but I really like the old font better because it's like a typewriter. This also includes more words in the background.
I thought, it was time to change the placement of where I pose. I put myself in the middle, to make it more dramatic, and more visible to see that the person is covered in all the words being said. Over all, out of these five, I really like the first one.

This picture is all about perspective. the hand is reaching out and you also see the poser behind the hand. Although it uses blurring, it looks cool.

This picture was taken by Aminata. I think the real thing I like about this picture, is just showing friendship and how important a bond could be.
This picture was also done by Aminata. she told me exactly what to do, I really enjoyed this photo, I also added more color and I really liked it.
This picture was taken by Aminata. We both did days we'd take picture of each other. I am such a hipocrite when it comes to photos, but I really enjoyed today's photos.
This photo was such a a success!! I love the effects towards it. For example, Aminata is crying to show some emotion. And the reflection is her just looking out the window.
This photo was also really cool! The sun in the background doesn't drown Aminata out, and it still looks amazing!
This one is a simple portrait used with the portrait mode on my phone. I am in love with this simple, yet beautiful photo.
This photo is simply showing Aminata's reflection towards the window. It was super fun today and I cannot wait to see what else Aminata and I can take!
Bella was in this one. She's staring out the window with her hands on it also. It's showing maybe that she's somehow locked somewhere. Maybe not physically, but mentally.
This was a cool reflection in the mirror. I love it because you can see the front of the face and the back of the head.
This was a quick selfie made with portrait mode on my phone. I love this photo because it signifies friendship and it's just really vibrant.

My journal is finally finished! Thank . you Ms. Kushner for helping me in the last few days getting it to print. The adobe journal finally fits in the book and it's hot glued in. This is what I did today; February 6th, 2020
This photo is all about perspective, I really like the way Bella is standing. She's taking a picture of the photographer, and can go vise versa!
This is another photo with my journal/ This is the front cover and how to bends.
Today seemed like kind of a series. These camera photos are really nice when it comes to perspective. They're all really pretty.
This is one of the first times I'm happy with a photo of me. It may sound weird, but I really like where the snow is, and I did add some more snow to create more of a scene.
Here's another picture I edited. The app is through Pics Art, it's a great app for editing, and the filters are really cool! This is another rip through the picture, added a filter, and half of it is reality and the other half; a filter.
This picture is also a great one. I believe the picture is just super vibrant with all the colors.
Yes, this picture was super edited, but I love it so much because it's like a new universe into color. For example, the rip is to show the separation between the color and the reality. I love the color choice and the placement.

This is my finished board game! I finally finished, it is printed, and I cannot wait to play it with friends. This board game is quite self-explanatory. It goes from side to side and ends when it says END, and starts where it says START.
Well this is it, it was such a fun time in media arts for second trimester. I got to try so many things, and I'm definitely trying out in the Spring. Well, that's it, see you later blog! |
I started making quotes! I had been caught up with everything, and wanted to explore adobe spark. I ended up writing many quotes, and these were one of my favorites. Not because it necessarily applies to me, but I've seen so many people have other people write in their "book" and this quotes empowered me to do the right thing.
This picture was taken on my phone, transported to my computer, and then edited on adobe. I absolutely love the filter and the way this turned out.
