The main message of my poster is to save the earth and end global warming. 2) Describe the choices you made with font, images, color, layout, and composition to communicate your message. I decide to make all the choices I made so they could contrast from the picture. 3) How did your poster change with each version. What changes did you make to get to your completed poster? I changed the background and added text. 4) What parts of your poster do you feel are most successful? I like the background of my poster. |
Laser Cut Snowflake
We were tasked to make a snowflake with the laser cutter. At first i didn't know what I was doing. I began to mess around with the controls and I got this design. I decided to use it and that's how I got my results.
Laser Burned Wood
I want to burn a design on a piece of wood with the laser cutter. I decided to carve a Lenny face because I like Lenny faces, and I think they're funny. I wanted to burn a Lenny face so that I could see what it looks like after. I was very delighted with my results :)
Innovation Project
We were tasked to come up with a solution to an everyday problem. Sophia and I came up with the idea to make a phone holder that hangs off a charger brick. We also decided we would burn a design on the back, since we'll be working with wood. Sophia's box is going to have a phoenix on the back, and mine is going to have a Patrick.
Sophia and I picked out design that we're going to burn into our phone holder.
|
We measured our phones to figure out how big the phone holder would have to be. Sophia sketched out what we hoped the phone holder would look like.

This was the finished product. It didn't turn out exactly the way that we had hoped it had, but it still functions as a basic phone holder/stand.
