Design unit

I designed this picture by choosing what I like most or what my favorite hobby which is climbing. I designed it by making the color and text contrast so it could show what my name and also fully show the person climbing the mountain.

I designed this picture by choosing a quote because Alex Honnold was the first person to free solo El Capitan and lived to talk about it. I chose this font because it made the letter contrast the text from everything else.

Issue based poster

I chose this poster because I thought it had a strong message by showing that children are more important than guns

I chose this poster because I thought it made a good point about why guns were made in the first place.

I chose this poster because I thought it made a good point about why teachers shouldn't have guns 

i chose this poster because I wanted to keep my message simple and to the point. The white and black pop out against each other. my issue is gun violence which is represented with the gun and the words stop gun violence. 

surrealism

my idea was to use symbols to represent the person going into a place that is unknown and dark, but the person has the balloons to not only guide the person through this scary place, it reminds the person that they are human. 

lazer project 

My first step was to draw on photoshop what I wanted to carve. I decided to carve on wood. My second step was too move it to photoshop and change it to invert colors so the printer would know which part to laser.
