My writing is about humans who were just humans until race, religion, politics, wealth, and so much more made humans turn against each other.
My background picture is two hands of different colors forming a heart and in the middle a dove representing peace. This goes with my quote because it shows the race part of the quote and how we should all be able to talk peacefully and embrace our differences. To make the picture mine I traced over the hands so it wasn't straight from the internet. With my text I changed the colors multiple times until I picked just plain white and made the word HUMANS colorful to show our differences and to make the word pop out. With the background I thought it was dark but with a little purple, to make all the text pop out. Finally I picked out the picture to show love, peace, and diversity. I picked this quote because I thought that it wasn't too cheesy but also shows how all of us are different and people think thats bad, so we are all separated now because of our opinions our jobs, money, religion, even the color of our skin. I believe race discrimination is one of the most horrific things ever. My quote is about how humans got separated from all of these things. This is an important message at Chute because this school is diverse and that is good, but people are still talking about who's family is rich and who's poor. About religion and which one is better, I believe that we are all humans and are different and thats perfect. |

My design is of Earlham Colleges logo because that is where my sister (Emma) goes to college.
I chose this design because it is close to me and my family because my sister goes there for college and that is where my parents went to college and met. My positive part is the background and the negative is the EC. I chose these positions because carving the EC is faster and in order to do that I chose the EC as the negative. I was also intrigued by how it would end up looking like. Positive shapes are the shapes that are no carved and the negative the ones that are carved. |
