Silly Poster
The pose that I chose for this project was a laughing pose because I wanted to use the adjective "silly" since I am cheerful and I find a way to make people laugh. In photoshop I noticed that my sweater has a lot of details and little holes in it so I decided to use a brush that was kind of star shaped and dotted it all over my sweater. I needed a sparkle in my eye when I was tracing so I used the same strategy with the star shaped brush and made a sort of twinkle in my eye. Something that was kind of difficult for me was my hair, I outlined the outside of my hair and then I made a lot of strings coming down to represent my wavy hair. I think that in this picture what stands out the most is my sweater or my lips since I made my lips darker and my sweater more detailed then the other part of my picture. Overall I was very satisfied with how my picture turned out in the end!
Wonderwomen Poster
This is my Wonderwomen poster that I made in photoshop. When making this poster I was thinking about powerful women and some of the stereotypes that women get. I think that a lot of women are underestimated and people don't think of them as strong people. I like the superhero Wonderwomen because there are many male superhero's and I think that Wonderwomen shows young girls and everyone that not all strong people have to be men. I chose this quote because I think that in fairytales and stories, princesses and girls always depend on the male figures, like prince's and knights. This quote is saying that women are strong and they can fight for themselves.
Strong Girl Poster
This project was a stereotype project that I did with Citlali and Hameedah. For this project we took a stereotype that people give us and wrote what we would say back to people giving us that stereotype on a poster. I used the stereotype that people give me and other girls and women- girls aren't strong. I would say back to that stereotype, "Girls are strong, too." I really like this project because it is standing up to stereotypes and being strong when others are trying to bring you down!!!
Room Project Process
Today in class I edited a bunch of pictures that I took yesterday. I edited on my phone using the app VSCO and I am going to start putting all the pictures on my room in photoshop tomorrow.
Today in class I edited more pictures on my phone and airdropped them to the computer. I think this process is going very well because I finished editing all the pictures that I want to use in photoshop today so that next week I will start on photoshop and can begin to make my walls for my room.
